The first fly-in of the season will be held at the Excelsior Springs Memorial Airport on Saturday, June 6th from 7:30 to 10:30am. A brief meeting for the Northwest Missouri Chapter of the Antique Airplane Association will follow. Proceeds from the fly-in will go directly to fund the Chapter’s annual scholarship in memory of two longtime supporters of the Excelsior Springs Airport and founding members of the NW MO AAA – Barb Kirkpatrick and Don Sharp. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving youth pursuing an aviation-related degree in college. Full information on this scholarship will be available at the fly-in, and the scholarship application will be posted on this website very soon. We’d love to have you join us and enjoy pancakes, for your at-will donation toward this wonderful cause!
